Pekham Pal is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Experience
Prior to joining Cole Schotz, Pekham most recently served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Vincent L. Briccetti, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York, where she worked on a variety of civil and criminal cases. She also practiced as a litigation and enforcement associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP for several years, advising governmental entities, financial institutions, and companies in the technology, media, food services, and agricultural sectors in a variety of disputes, as well as internal and governmental investigations.
During law school, Pekham served as Articles & Notes Editor on the Fordham Law Review, as well as a member of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center and the Dispute Resolution Society. She also interned for the Honorable Katherine Polk Failla, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Prior to law school, Pekham was an investigative analyst for the New York County District Attorney’s Office.
Pekham received her J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law and her B.A. in International Studies and Hispanic Studies from Vassar College.
