EXPERIENCE

Yasi advises clients in real estate leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and financings involving properties across asset types. Her clients include a broad spectrum of industry operators including real estate developers, property owners and managers, members of the self-storage industry, investors, and established retailers.

Yasi is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, New Jersey Women Lawyers Association and Iranian American Bar Association. Internally at Cole Schotz, Yasi is an active member of the firm’s STARS Women’s Initiative and participates in the firm’s mentorship program for summer associates.

EDUCATION

Yasi earned her B.A. in Journalism and Middle Eastern Islamic Studies, magna cum laude, from New York University. She later earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law where she received the Presidential Academic Scholarship and served as the President and Co-Founder of the Real Estate Law Society. She also worked as a Student Attorney in the Civil Litigation and Practice Clinic assisting clients with a variety of housing and landlord-tenant matters. Prior to joining the firm, Yasi served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Lisa M. Adubato of the Superior Court of New Jersey in 2021 and worked as a Summer Associate at Cole Schotz in 2022. Yasi is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
