EXPERIENCE
By working closely with clients, their family members and professional advisor, Lisa creates personalized and comprehensive multi-generational family wealth transfer vehicles, including wills, trusts, charitable giving instruments, and business succession plans, along with other available transfer tools. She offers advice and assistance with all aspects of tax planning, including individual and corporate taxes, estate, gift and generation-skipping taxation as well as charitable tax planning and private foundations.
Lisa counsels executors, trustees and other fiduciaries in connection with probate and estate and trust administration matters and represents individuals and fiduciaries before the IRS and the New York Surrogate’s Courts.
Lisa takes a tax-efficient approach to the sale and acquisition of business interests, corporate recapitalization, restructuring and family business-succession planning, and includes the formation or dissolution of corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships, as well as estate planning tools.
Additionally, Lisa’s experience encompasses advising business and real estate owners on a diverse range of corporate tax matters, including the tax aspects and structuring of taxable and tax-free transactions, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, equity and debt financing, liquidations, tax-free spin-off transactions and joint ventures.
