Krista Kulp is a member in the Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring and Litigation Departments.
Experience
She represents businesses in commercial litigation and disputes at the trial and appellate levels. Her experience also includes creditors’ rights and bankruptcy. Ms. Kulp has taken key roles in many components of civil litigation, such as writing pleadings and motions, drafting and reviewing discovery, taking and defending depositions, facilitating settlement negotiations, and advocating for clients at hearings and at trial.
Networks & Affiliations
Ms. Kulp serves as Editor-in-Chief of the e-newsletter for the Business Bankruptcy Committee for the American Bar Association. Through the Business Bankruptcy Committee, she has participated in panel discussions and webinars and has authored and prepared written materials relating to bankruptcy issues. She co-authored the fourth chapter of Reorganizing Failing Business, 3rd Ed., 2017 published by the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association and has been published in the New York Law Journal and the American Bankruptcy Institute Journal. She also serves as the Communications Co-Chair for IWIRC-NY.
Ms. Kulp is committed to promoting diversity in the legal community. Prior to joining Cole Schotz, she served on the CLE Committee and the Diversity, Inclusion & Pro Bono Committee at Moritt, Hock & Hamroff, helping coordinate events and CLEs.
