Andrew Weiss is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Employment Departments and is based in the New Jersey office.
Experience
Prior to joining Cole Schotz, Andrew served as a Chancery law clerk and as a judicial intern in the Superior Court of New Jersey to the Hon. Edward A. Jerejian, P.J.Ch.
Education
Andrew earned his J.D., cum laude, from Rutgers Law School (Newark) in May 2021 where he served as an Executive Board Member and Notes Editor on the Rutgers Business Law Review.
At Rutgers Law School, Andrew was named the recipient of The Harriet Goldberg Scholarship and wrote a published Casenote entitled “The California Fair Pay to Play Act: A Survey of the Regulatory and Business Impacts of a State-Based Approach to Compensating College Athletes and the Challenges Ahead“.
Prior to law school, Andrew worked in the financial industry as a trader.
Andrew received his B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University in 2013 where he played NCAA Division I Football, earning three letters as a Quarterback and Punter.
