A team of attorneys from Cole Schotz PC and Kirkland & Ellis LLP is helping guide food storage company Tupperware through its Chapter 11 bankruptcy, in which it hopes to quickly find a buyer while fending off a dismissal motion from a group of lenders.

Patrick J. Reilley

A member of Cole Schotz’s bankruptcy and corporate restructuring department since 2008, Reilley has represented debtors, Chapter 11 trustees, purchasers and committees in a variety of bankruptcies, according to his firm profile.

Recently, he has represented ventilator maker Vyaire Medical, Miami-based primary healthcare group Cano Health and technology firm Appgate Inc.

He has also represented committees in the Chapter 11 cases of Drug Fair Group, Linens ‘N Things, drugmakers Mallinckrodt and Purdue Pharma, and breast implant company Sientra Inc.

Before joining Cole Schotz, Reilley was an associate at Saul Ewing LLP for more than five years, according to his LinkedIn profile. He received his law degree from Boston University School of Law.

Stacy L. Newman

Newman joined Cole Schotz as a member in February 2023 from Ashby & Geddes PA, where she had been an attorney since 2008, according to her LinkedIn profile.

At Cole Schotz, she has represented debtors including gambling machine company Lucky Bucks and medical packaging company SiO2 Medical Products Inc. She also has represented the unsecured creditors committees for Sientra, lumber company Restoration Forest, ad tech company MediaMath and furniture chain Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams.

She graduated from Albany Law School, where she was the managing editor of the Albany Law Review.

Michael E. Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick joined Cole Schotz as an associate following a stint as an extern at Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor LLP.

He has represented the creditors committees for MediaMath, all-terrain vehicle seller Performance Powersports Group, steel plant servicer Phoenix Services Topco and Soft Surroundings. He has also represented debtors including American Virtual Cloud and window-shading companyView Inc.

He holds a law degree from Drexel University‘s Thomas R. Kline School of Law.

Jack M. Dougherty

Dougherty has been a bankruptcy and restructuring associate at Cole Schotz since 2020, according to his LinkedIn profile. He has been co-counsel for e-commerce company Nogin and cloud communications company American Virtual Cloud Technologies Inc.

Along with Newman, he represented the creditors committees for Restoration Forest, Sientra and MediaMath. He also represented an interested party in Global Discovery Biosciences Corp. and the creditors committees for cosmetic brand developer FB Debt Financing Guarantor, women’s apparel retailer Soft Surroundings, and wellness product distributor NewAge Inc.

He has a law degree from Emory University School of Law.
