Evelyn D. Giaccio Joins Cole Schotz as Real Estate Member in New York
Cole Schotz P.C. is pleased to announce the arrival of Evelyn D. Giaccio as a Member of the firm’s Real Estate Department.
Based in New York, Ms. Giaccio’s practice focuses on matters pertaining to real estate finance, acquisition and disposition, joint venture, leasing, private equity, development and construction.
Ms. Giaccio brings over twenty years of significant legal experience advising national and multinational companies on a wide breadth of legal, regulatory, litigation and compliance matters across various real estate assets and transactions.

Leyva, co-chair of the firm’s Litigation, Real Estate and Real Estate Special Opportunities departments. “Evelyn’s extensive experience in real estate, combined with her background in both in-house and big law, will allow her to provide valuable guidance to our clients.”
Ms. Giaccio joins the firm from Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate LLC, a subsidiary of Massachusetts Mutual, where she served as Managing Director and General Counsel. Her most recent law firm experience was at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.

Ms. Giaccio is admitted to the New York and Connecticut State Bars. She earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School and received an M.S. in Real Estate Development and Investment from the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate, as well as a B.A. in Economics from Barnard College.
