Cole Schotz Strengthens Corporate Practice With Addition of J. Jeffrey Cash

Cole Schotz P.C. is pleased to announce J. Jeffrey Cash has joined the firm as a corporate member in its Dallas office. Mr. Cash brings to the firm extensive experience in corporate and transactional matters including complex mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, and joint ventures across a broad range of industries.

Mr. Cash collaborates with clients in corporate transactions, including securities offerings, venture capital investments, and other financings. He also advises in-house counsel and management regarding corporate governance, stock exchange rules, and other compliance matters – with standout experience handling specialized legal work on behalf of boards of directors and special committees before the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Mr. Cash’s work also involves assisting private equity groups in acquisitions, post-acquisition counseling, and fundraising for companies with diverse portfolios. His previous work includes representing a wealth management group in a disposition to a private equity group, as well as representing a seller in a sale of auto repair companies to a private equity group.

Mr. Cash joins the firm from Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP. He is admitted to the state bar of Texas. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law in addition to his B.A. in history and political science from Louisiana State University.
