Jaime is a high stakes litigator with extensive experience litigating and negotiating the most complex and personal matters for clients, including probate and trust litigation, high-net-worth marital and family law cases and guardianship matters.
EXPERIENCE
Jaime serves as a trusted advisor to individuals during challenging family situations. Jaime is a trial attorney with diverse experience representing high-net-worth individuals and families in divorce and other marital and family law related matters, including probate and trust litigation matters and other fiduciary litigation. Jaime is experienced in navigating, litigating and resolving these complex and personal litigation matters that often involve complex assets, unique compensation structures, business and income valuation issues, as well as testamentary capacity issues, undue influence and unique family dynamics.
Jaime is experienced in handling issues unique to high-net-worth individuals and families including intricately detailed prenuptial and postnuptial agreements with sophisticated and highly complex financial disclosure issues and generational family wealth considerations. Jaime is also experienced handling estate and guardianship administrations.
Jaime also works with in-house counsel at large corporations and financial institutions as outside counsel handling large, complex commercial litigation matters. She has experience in all aspects of litigation, from discovery and pretrial motions to trials and appeals.
Prior to joining Cole Schotz, Jaime served as counsel at an AmLaw 40 international law firm, as a partner and shareholder at two Florida law firms and started her career as an associate in the West Palm Beach office of a large international law firm.
