Matthew Barish is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Experience

He handles various types of business disputes always with the client’s bottom line in mind. Matthew seeks practical resolutions for his clients by taking advantage of his past experience in the business community. Prior to pursuing his legal career, Matthew gained extensive knowledge of the regulatory framework within the financial services industry as an Assistant Vice President at Citigroup Global Markets, Inc., working on a regulatory reporting team.

Matthew earned his B.S., cum laude, from Brooklyn College and his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. While in law school, Matthew worked as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Robert Malchman and was a Staff Editor on the Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal. Matthew was also previously a Summer Analyst with The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. in their Global Compliance Division.
