Denise A.
Krall
Associate
Denise Krall is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate department. Denise focuses on representing and advising developers, property owners, investors, lenders and borrowers in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, restructuring and leasing.
EXPERIENCE
Denise’s practice encompasses a broad range of asset classes as well as all aspects of a transaction, including navigating diligence issues, negotiating contracts, and closing. She also represents property owners in drafting and negotiating construction license agreements for adjacent property access in connection with projects ranging from large commercial developments to townhouses, offering strategic counsel in a niche and technical area of New York City law that often also involves effective coordination with engineers and other design professionals.
Before joining Cole Schotz, Denise gained valuable experience at a prominent firm specializing in real estate, and prior to that, at a construction law boutique. In these capacities, she represented clients in connection with architect and vendor agreements, RPAPL § 881 applications, litigation arising from property damage claims, project delays and breaches of contract, and high-end residential purchases and sales. This diverse background provides Denise with a well-rounded perspective of the New York City real estate and development market, and a comprehensive understanding of legal challenges that can arise in transactional matters.
Denise earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Connecticut, where she served as a Publication Editor for the Quinnipiac University Law Review and a senator for the Student Bar Association.
