Associate
Austin R. Niggebrugge is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department in its Delaware office. He handles various types of cases in Delaware courts, with a focus on corporate, business, and complex disputes.
Experience
Austin is a first-generation attorney and native Delawarean. He graduated from the University of Delaware, where he played NCAA Division 1 baseball. As a former student-athlete, he brings a unique perspective to the practice of law and understands what is required to deliver results at a high level through preparation, strategy, and instinct.
Both before law school and after his first year, he was a judicial intern with the Delaware Superior Court for the Honorable Jan R. Jurden. At Delaware Law School, he was the External Managing Editor for Volume 48 of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law; an interscholastic competitor for the Moot Court Honor Society, winning Best Overall for its new member competition; and a member of the Transactional Law Honor Society. Throughout his third year, he was a judicial extern with the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit for the Honorable Kent A. Jordan. After graduating cum laude, and prior to joining the Firm, he served as a judicial law clerk with the Delaware Superior Court for the Honorable Noel Eason Primos.
Austin is actively involved in the Richard S. Rodney Inn of Court and the Lincoln Club of Delaware.
