Mia Ritota is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and is based in the New Jersey office.
EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Cole Schotz, Mia served as law clerk to the Honorable James J. DeLuca, J.S.C., New Jersey Superior Court, Bergen County, Chancery Division, and to the Honorable Lisa Perez Friscia, J.A.D., New Jersey Superior Court, Chancery and Appellate Divisions during the 2022-2023 term.
Education
Mia earned her B.A. in Psychology from The College of New Jersey, and her J.D., cum laude, from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.
While in law school, Mia twice interned for the New Jersey Superior Court, Bergen County, Chancery Division, as well as for the Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor, New York, New York. Additionally, she received a Law Merit Scholarship, competed in the first Transatlantic Negotiation Competition in 2021, and was a Staff Writer for “Hearsay News.” Prior to law school, Mia’s poetry and fine art were featured in various fine art exhibitions and literary and art magazines.
